The fuselage is a construction from plywood and spruce, enforced with 4130 steel brakets, to carry and transfer loads, or to connect the wings and undercarriage with the fuselage. It mainly consist from two side panels and a firewall.

The easiest way to built the fuselage side panels, is to transfer the plans drawings to fullsize drawings on a table of necessary length. A wood jig is simply built around the drawings and all the fuselage parts are cut to size and can be glued together within this jig. Both side panels are built in the same jig, one above the other.

The firewall is jigged and glued together in the same manner.

The two foward inner side panels and the inner firewall will have tobe covered with ply skins, befor the fuse can be "boxed".

It's necessary to construct a number of crossmembers for the different stations, that will connect the both fuse side panels together. Most of the crossmembers are simply cut to size wood parts, but others are complex structures, that need to be built in advance.

The boxing process starts with connecting the firewall to the sidepanels and adding the crossmembers to station 0. Continue with the next station after the glue has cured and so on....
